The eco friendly sprawling campus spread in 5 acres. The most attractive feature of the teaching – learning environment of TRIS is the “ASAN PALLIKOODAM” which was introduced with a view of enhancing the writing skills of the kids of TRIS NEST (Playschool of TRIS). The laboratories are modern and well equipped. Every lab is supervised by well qualified teachers. The wonderful science lab at TRIS is open to all students from class 1 and above for learning EVS and Science.

A modern library managed by a qualified librarian is the integral part of school. Library is equipped with English and Malayalam periodicals, reference books and a good variety of fictions and literary works of famous authors.

The school’s Art Room is a store of all raw materials needed for accomplishing curriculum based projects. The creative instincts of kids are well catered here with the assistance of a skilled Art Teacher. A cumulative record of the students projects is kept in the art room for study and reference.

Through planting and harvesting the kids of TRIS learn the basics of Environmental Science. The Environmental club in the school pursues research on environmental topics, and records all its project works. Kids learn and love their environment through this direct application method. Some of our plantations include tapioca, banana plants, vegetables etc.. The environmental club also works on climatic changes, weather forecasting and how to minimize pollution. The club is a part of SEED, an environmental organization of Mathrubhoomi.

TRIS gives utmost importance to literary activities among students. They are encouraged to improve their literary skills through constant practice. The concept of LSRW is well followed in the club and evaluations are conducted regularly. Special attention and motivation are given to students who have reluctance in public speaking and other performances.

Educational games are a part of the school’s curriculum. They motivate students to learn, and develop better interaction between teachers and students. The games in the school also stimulate the cognitive growth of a child through problem solving and language communication.

The students of the school are allotted to one of the four houses, ie, Agni, Prithvi, Vayu and Jal. Inter – House competitions are held throughout the year in various co curricular and extra curricular activities which foster healthy competitive spirit. Each house vies with one another to keep the house flag aloft and win the Tris Trophy every year.

Children need to know concepts directly from nature. They must be aware of the rich heritage of India. They have to refresh their mind so as to do better in the future. With these concepts in mind, study tours , visits and excursions are arranged to places of cultural, scientific historical and geographical importance.

Health is wealth. without health nothing can be achieved in life and we see that our children are safe and healthy. For the same , the school is being associated with the service of Holy Cross Hospital, Adoor. Regular seminars and medical checkup are conducted in the school by the hospital.

Health club is the integral part of the system. Physical fitness club runs for those members who are interested in the activity of the club. Karate, Aerobics and PT classes are attached to the school activities, Utmost importance is given to physical education under the supervision of a well qualified sports master.
